About Augusta Housing Authority

The Augusta Housing Authority was created in 1979 to improve housing opportunities for low and moderate income families in the Augusta area. AHA serves the City of Augusta and towns within a ten mile radius including Chelsea, Coopers Mills, Gardiner, Manchester, Mt. Vernon, Pittston, Readfield, Vassalboro, Whitefield, Winslow, China, Belgrade, Farmingdale, Hallowell, Monmouth, Oakland, Randolph, Sidney, West Gardiner, Windsor and Winthrop.
